Abstract

Bluebook citation fluency requires more than familiarity with citation rules: students must identify the source type, select the governing convention, and assemble each citation accurately. Drawing on cognitive and educational research, this article presents brief, interactive games and exercises for paralegal instruction, including matching tasks, error-identification activities, citation-construction puzzles, vocabulary challenges, and quizzes. It explains how instructors can sequence these activities from guided practice to independent application and use prompt, corrective feedback to improve later performance. These resources are offered as flexible course supplements whose effectiveness warrants further classroom study.
